Want to spice up your name with some colors?
Quake 4 supports colored names, but you will have to set it up in the console. Pull down the console, if you need help accessing the console, read in our FAQ How do I access the console?
You change your name with the console variable "name". To add color to your name, hit the "^" key and then a number
from 1 to 8, for example:
\name "^5Light Blue"
will set your name to "Light Blue "
\name "^8-=^1Freaky^7Gaming^8=-"
will set your name to "-=FreakyGaming=-"
^1 = Red
^2 = Green
^3 = Yellow
^4 = Blue
^5 = Light Blue
^6 = Magneta
^7 = White
^8 = Black
